Katrina & Tim : Engagement
We met at Heritage Park in Taylor and I have to say that I absolutely loved Katrina and Tim's engagement session. They are so much fun to be around and so much in love; with that combination you know you are going to have some great photos. I am telling you these two can work the camera. Thanks for a great session!! Check out the slideshow for some of my favorites!

Jack @ 6 Months
Jack is at one of my favorite ages. I love 6 month old babies because you begin to see their personality and they are so engaging. Jack was no exception, he is exceedingly cute and has the sweetest smile(not to mention those adorable cheeks). I had a great time watching him interact and react to his parents, Michelle and Pete and his Grandmother. He was absolutely perfect.

Pam and Tim Engagement
I photographed an engagement session with the fabulous Pam and Tim at the Henry Ford Estate a couple of weeks ago. Their wedding is in a few weeks and I am so excited. When Tim introduced Pam to us, we knew that she was the one. She is fantastic and she totally complements Tim's personality. The fact that she cheers loudly and doesn't fall asleep at Lion's games is just an added bonus. I am so happy for you guys.

Riley @ 2 Months
I got to hang out with Riley last Thursday and she was cuter than ever. When I saw her I was thinking, is it even possible that you are even cuter than the last time I saw you? Of course it is, although it seems physically impossible.
I have to admit, I think she is a little tired of me taking her picture. She is beginning to look at me like, "C'mon Auntie! We have to do this again!". It's a good thing she is still a captive subject! :)
Check out more of Riley's cuteness in the slide show below.

Caden

Caden was a little sleepy after I arrived, but after a short cat nap and a snack he was ready to go. I love smiley, chubby babies! They are so much fun to photograph and Caden was not exception. He is absolutely adorable! I can't wait for his 6 month pictures. Check out the slideshow below for a sneak peek from our session today.

Matthew
I did a session with Matthew last week. He is such a sweet and funny kid. He is sure to break some hearts when he gets older. Just look at those eyes!
Check out some of my favorites from our session last week. Thank you Matthew!

Erin and Brad Engagement
Is it raining again? Those were my first thoughts Saturday morning. I had scheduled an engagement session with Erin and Brad about 6 weeks ago. Everyone's schedule is crazy busy and I knew that it would be nearly impossible to reschedule this shoot, before their September 6th wedding. However, I am eternally optimistic. I knew if I kept looking at the radar, I could will away the rain. Ya know what? It worked. Really, it stopped raining and cleared right up. So, off to the session we go...
I met up with Erin and Brad at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor. I had already met with Erin a couple times, so I already knew how sweet she was, but this was my first time meeting Brad. (Actually truth be told, I met Erin and Brad at a bridal show in January but after talking to a few hundred people, I can't keep track. Sorry Brad.) Brad is really funny and he is very good at deflecting my witty remarks. Just that alone told me that we would get along just fine. I want to thank Erin and Brad for taking time out of their busy schedules. I can't wait for your wedding. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.
**I want to send a special shout out to my husband Aaron, who graciously assisted me on Saturday. Thank you so much, Sweets. I couldn't have done it without you. Oh and yes, your check is in the mail :) **

Gianna
I had a portrait session with Gianna on Friday and we had a ball. She was such a great "model". Honestly she was perfect. She clearly likes to be photographed. Although, I will say that like all "models" Gianna had her demands. Her number one demand was to get rid of the ants. It was so cute, even if there were none around, she would give me a stick and ask me to make sure there were no ants before she sat down. So, I would make some sweeping motions with my hand which she thought were hysterical and then sit down. Thank you so much Gianna, you were awesome! You can check out a few pics from our session below.

Riley @ 1 Month
It's hard to believe my niece Riley is already a month old. We saw her on Father's Day and she was just as adorable as ever. Check out her smiling new picts.

Meg and Andrew
It was already hot and humid last Monday when I met up with Meg and Andrew for their engagement session at Greenfield Village. They are a really sweet couple and I have to say, they were great subjects despite the heat. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to photograph them. Here are a few of my favorites.

Jake
Here are shots of my nephew Jake. He was a little reluctant to have me take his picture, but he proved to be a great model none the less. Thanks Jake!

Allison
On Saturday, we celebrated Mother's Day at my parents house. I had my camera with me(of course), so I decided to seize the opportunity and take some portraits of my beautiful niece. The location was gorgeous, the weather was great and my model was perfect, what else could you ask for? Check out the pics below.
I also did some shots of my nephew, Jake which I will post in a few days.

Thomas
You won't find many teenage guys cooler than Thomas. I had a great time photographing him because he is so laid back and not self conscious about being photographed. We had a pretty quick session but I was able to capture some really great images that truly show his personality. Check out the portrait gallery for some other great images. Thanks Thomas!

Family Portrait
I had the great pleasure of photographing Alan, Kari, Brooke, Amy and Ella this afternoon. You couldn't have asked for nicer weather for November and we were able to capture some great outdoor portraits.
